We strive for Excellence
Suid Natal High School regularly achieves a 100% pass rate and ranks at the top of the departmental’s list of 122 schools in the Port Shepstone district.
Our region stretches from Scottburgh in the north, Ixopo in the west to Matatielle in the south and is the only Afrikaans school, with a bilingual prevocational department, between Amanzimtoti and East London.
Suid Natal High School has a learner’s corps subject to none. The outstanding sport achievements of the teams, as well as individuals, the abundant participation in cultural events and the outstanding academic achievements, are concrete evidence of a well-adjusted youth keen to contribute positively towards the school. This also testifies of the high standard of staff members at our school.
We achieve in the following sport areas: Rugby, Soccer, Netball, Hockey, Swimming, Golf, Cricket, Athletics and Chess.
On a cultural level, we cultivate local as well as regional level winners in public speaking. The students also compete in English First Language speech and debate competitions.
The school has a hostel that provides accommodation for high school boys and girls.
